- Creates new appointment events in your Google Calendar when a caller books
- Handles rescheduling and cancellations by updating or deleting existing events
- Recognises returning callers and greets them by name
- Sends SMS booking confirmations to the caller
Google Calendar integration
VoiceDesk requests access to your Google Calendar in order to:
- Read your calendar events to determine which time slots are free (respecting existing appointments, breaks, and blocked times)
- Create new calendar events when a caller successfully books an appointment
- Update or delete calendar events when a caller reschedules or cancels
We access only the specific Google Calendar you connect during setup. We do not read, store, or share any calendar data beyond what is needed to provide the booking functionality described above.
